Deevya is an experienced and compassionate dietitian who works with people of all ages, backgrounds and health needs. Whether supporting parents seeking guidance for their newborn, teenagers navigating food choices, people managing a medical condition, those living with disability, or anyone simply wanting to eat better, Deevya provides warm, respectful and personalised nutrition care.
She has a strong interest in culturally diverse diets and mindful eating, and offers nutrition advice that respects each person’s lifestyle, heritage and goals. Deevya holds a Bachelor of Human Nutrition with Honours and a Master of Dietetic Practice, and is currently completing a PhD focused on the Indian diet in Australia for people living with diabetes.
Over the past 12 years, Deevya has worked across a wide range of settings including private practice, gyms, schools, aged care, community health and with NDIS participants. She brings warmth, lived experience and evidence-based knowledge to every consultation.
In addition to being a dietitian, Deevya has lived experience with young families, certain medical conditions and being a consumer herself. No matter your age or health journey, Deevya believes small changes can make a big difference. She is passionate about empowering people to take charge of their health, one meal, one habit and one step at a time.
